Chasin' is a puppy from the first Racer X Tess litter. He is owned by Lisa Peacock in Caledonia IL.
He is currently training primarily for agility but Lisa also dabbles in herding and rally obedience.
I handled Chasin in the breed ring for Lisa. On April 3, 2005 he earned his first points (a three point major) by going BOW in DeWitt IA. I earned his first 10 points and 2 majors. Lisa finished showing him the rest of the way and
On April 9, 2006, Chasin became the VERY FIRST dog bred with the Czechmate prefix to earn a breed CH when he earned his final points in DeKalb, IL at the Yorkville KC show. (See the picture from his 3rd major win below)
His eyes were CERF'ed clear as a puppy and he has been BAER tested as normal.
He has also been CEA DNA certified as NORMAL.
Chasin is OFA Good but he has now been neutered.
Lisa decided to try herding with Chasin and entered him at an AHBA trial in HCT . . . he earned both legs with flying colors.
Lisa now plans to continue his herding training so look for more news later . . .
